A picture speaks a thousand words
It's not only food, drink and music that we love at Canvas@1206...we also appreciate fine art. When we first came up with the concept of our restaurant, we wanted to create a space that would be a blank canvas for the expression of food, drink, live entertainment and art...thats why we included the gallery wall. Those of you that have already enjoyed an evening with us would have seen the long wall adjacent to the bar that at present is displaying the work of local photographer Cheryl Gorski. This exhibition will be replaced by our next featured artist soon...and that artist could be you.
Featured artist... Blues In Buffalo - Cheryl Gorski
For more than twenty years, Cheryl Gorski has been expressing her passionate point-of-view through photography. She began her career at a studio in 1988 specializing in portraiture where she developed a keen competency in other specialties including fashion, journalism and documentary lifestyle. Blues In buffalo is a year long study featuring Blues musicians who played at The tap Room.

Do you have a collection that you want to display at our venue? If so we'd love to hear from you. Your paintings or photos will be displayed in prominant view on our gallery wall and also promoted on our website where you'll have the option to sell prints. We can arrange for a special gala evening where the public will be invite to see your work and talk dircectly to the artist giving you and your work invaluable exposer.
